That’s what I’m talkin’ about!

Standard

Check out this cool idea for using t-shirt scraps – the very parts we don’t use when making a quilt – to make girls’ headbands.  The instructions are at this site, Make It and Love It.   They take no time at all; I made a bright green one in about 20 minutes flat.  I would have taken a picture but my models were having bad hair days.

If you have a girl scout troop, host a sleepover, or know of another gaggle of girls who could use a fun activity, let us know.  We will be happy to cut and provide the material, and even sew the initial stitches to hold the strips together.  (Colors will be limited to what we have on hand.)  And certainly, if we make a quilt for you, you are welcome to whatever leftovers you want.  Stay tuned for another cute headband-from-t-shirt idea to follow.    -Sara
