Once we have your t-shirts, we cut around each logo, leaving approximately a 2″ border.  Big or small, we cut them all, and are not limited by size in any way.

We lay out the squares (or rectangles) to determine the most attractive layout, taking into consideration color, theme, and size of block.  We sew the blocks into columns, then sew the columns together.  We then lay the t-shirt sheet on top of polyester batting, on top of fleece, in your choice of color.  We offer a variety of fleece types: anti-pill, shaggy* and ultra soft.  We then begin the laborious task of hand-tying knots with cotton thread, to hold the layers together.  The last step is to sew the edges together, bringing the fleece up to create a fleece border around the t-shirt face.  Voila!  Your comfy, cozy t-shirt quilt is done.

After spending so much time with your quilt, we feel obliged to name it.  You, however, are under no obligation to keep that name.  Couch time will afford you way more intimacy with your quilt than we’ll ever have, so feel free to select whatever moniker suits.

* Shaggy fleece may bleed a little when washed.
